Rodents Bring Disease Into Your Home
Rodents are fast moving, sly and cunning creatures. Examples include the mouse and the rat. Nighttime is when both rats and mice are the most active and you could almost hear them running around. Rats & mice can create a lot of damage by chewing through the wood, walls and even the electrical wiring in and around the property. Business properties and residential properties are always at risk because they are sources of food and shelter for the rodents. Any property that has trash improperly contained is just inviting rodents to make the property a shelter.
Once they access the property they bring disease, urine and feces that can contaminate the area and pose a health risk to you and your family.

Rodent Pest Control Services:
Rodent Management
Rodent Control
Rodent Exclusion
Rodent Elimination
The first step in any of the services above is to do a full revaluation of the property. In order to reduce the growth of the rodent population if the property already has rats or mice the rodent control technician will inspect where their food sources are in an attempt to reduce or remove them.
They will scope the entire property in detail and identify entry point areas where the rodents will most likely access the property. A full, thorough inspection both inside and outside the property must be performed to make sure all possible rodent pest entry points are covered. Those technicians who have far less experience doing rodent pest control will miss many spots that rodents use to burrow into the home.
In order to catch the pack and eliminate them traps are set at all locations where they could possibly exit from.
Remember, the best way to rodent control is to keep them from coming into the property from the get go. You must take action right away if you already have an infestation of rats or mice because of the risk that they carry.
Rat & Mouse related diseases:
DO NOT RISK putting people in danger by not dealing with rodents. Those people that frequent the area will always be at risk to become sick. If you happen to see any rat or mouse droppings anywhere get in contact with a rodent pest control technician immediately.
Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS): Being in close contact with rat urine, feces or saliva from rats invading a food source can infect anyone. The virus is airborne and if you breath the virus in the fumes you can become infected}}.
The key step in Pest Rodent Control is preventing access from rodents.
Salmonella Enterica Serovar Typhimurium: Not necessarily fatal but equivalent in symptoms to Typhoid with diarrhea, cramps, nausea and vomiting for 1 week’s time. People in poor health or those whose immune systems aren’t very strong are at the most risk (children / the elderly).
Leptospirosis: Also contracted from rodents it can cause jaundice (yellow eyes/skin), diarrhea, rash, chills, muscle aches, headaches, high fever, vomiting. If not treated the patient could end up with kidney damage, liver failure, meningitis and problems breathing
Eosinophilic Meningitis: Angiostrongylus contonensis is caused by an infection from having rat lung worms that enter your blood stream. Larvae of the worms may be inadvertently ingested from rat contaminated food. Larvae enters the bloodstream and into the cover of the spinal cord and brain (meninges). Symptoms include difficulty seeing, neck pain and extremely sensitive skin.
Murine Typhus: This is caused by the bites from the fleas on the rodent. Once the person scratches that area increases of infection increase dramatically. Symptoms include headache, fever, body aches and fever within 6-14 days of the bite.
Rat Bite Fever: When food or water is contaminated by rodent feces one can contract rat bite fever. If a rodent scratches you or happens to bite you you will get rat bite fever. Muscle aches, chills, high fever, some vomiting and headaches are symptoms you will see from rat bite fever. A rash can form around the bite area with lymph node swelling in the armpits, groin and neck.
